Corrigan Manufacturing was started by Joe Corrigan in 1927 in a neighborhood in Loves Park, Illinois. Rockford Illinois was a manufacturing rich environment and Joe provided machining and design services for several businesses in the area. Joe had a wife and three children.
Upon his untimely death in 1967, his son Lyle purchased the company from his mother Florance. Lyle continued to run and grow the business and in 1992 moved the business to a 12,000 sqare foot buiding on 20th avenue, in Rockford.
For the next 15 years business was good and once again continued to grow, with the help of his three sons. They had outgrown the space and decided again to move to another facility.
In 2007 Corrigan Manufacturing moved to their current facility at 1818 Christina Street. The 55,000 square foot facility has fit their needs well. Over the next 10 years ownership has transitioned to Lyle's three sons, Joe, Doug, and Roger. Together they have employed their father and grandfather's work ethic and customer service to propel the company for the future.
Being family owned and customer driven, Corrigan Manufacturing has been proactive in being responsive to their customers needs.
